Study visit of Shtetl Mszana Dolna at the Utøya Learning Center in Norway

From 3.-7.06.2024, a representation of Shtetl Mszana Dolna was in Norway, at the Utøya Learning Center for a study visit for activists from organizations involved in dialogue, commemoration, anti-discrimination.

The trip was held within the framework of the Active Citizens-National and Regional Fund program. The study visit of two-person representatives of 11 selected organizations from all over Poland to the Utøia Learning Center, served primarily to counter the radicalization of, among other things, the Andreas Brevik attack a dozen years ago, when this beautiful island, nestled among picturesque fjords, was stained with the blood of many innocent victims.

The topics of memorialization, dialogue and youth work - close to our hearts and actions - were also discussed. And the trip itself was an invaluable opportunity to meet extraordinary activists from Norway and all over Poland, with whom we hope to cooperate!
